History 319: U.S. Tourism

These course-based oral histories arose from the CSU Department of History collaboration with Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, Cleveland Public Art, and WCPN/WVIZ (ideastream). Interviews in this collection were conducted by students in History of U.S. Tourism (HIS 319) at Cleveland State University Department of History, supervised by professor Mark Souther. Originally intended to inform the creation of public art along the RTA’s Healthline BRT route, these interviews became part of the Euclid Corridor History Project, a set of location-based histories shared via interactive touchscreen kiosks at transit stations.
