Tremont History Project

The Tremont History Project was a community-based program, established in 2002 and running through 2003, in which students at Cleveland State University studied Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood through the collection and analysis of neighborhood oral histories. The project represents a collaboration between the Department of History at CSU, Tremont West Community Development Corporation, and the Ohio Canal Corridor. Additional support for the project came from the Department of History, College of Arts & Sciences, and Center for Urban School Collaboration at Cleveland State University.
